Exit FCPO To Feel The Profit
Date of entry: 25 Nov 2010
Immediate Reversed To Long CPO
I reversed to long FCPO at 3243 for 1 contract right after I closed my short position.
Date of exit: 29 Nov 2010
Exit FCPO To Feel The Profit
I shorted to close my position at 3375 with a gain of 130 points. There is not much reason for me to exit except that I want to feel the profit. The price might continue, but 130 gains is good enough.
The balance of my account is RM 34,750 after the profit of RM 3,250 (130points x RM25 x 1contract = RM 3250)
(The details of my account is at My Future Trading Account Records 2010 )

I think still not time to long yet..JB
ReplyDeleteHi Abel,
ReplyDeleteI still don't understand your SMA(24) L and SMA(24) H? What does it mean?
Hi Abel,
ReplyDeleteLooks like Fast and Furious theory works well in CPO where the volt is relatively high :)

Hi,
ReplyDeleteSMA(24)L = Simple moving average of the lows for 24 bars.
and SMA(24)H = Simple moving average of the highs for the last 24 bars.
Most traders use the close price to plot the moving averages. For me, I am using the low price and the high price of the bar. It depends very much on oneself.
Hi LengChai6,
It looks that way. Honestly, the first half of 2010, the movement of the price was very very slow. When I did the back testing, making 60 points was considered superb performance then. The current volatility could come to an end any time also.
Abel
well done !
